🇨🇭🇦🇺🏉Round 2 – Results🏉🇦🇺🇨🇭

It was a hot, hot day in Zürich at the weekend, but that didn‘t stop 4 great games taking place at Allmend Brunau.

At the start of the day the Winterthur Lions were sitting at the bottom of the ladder. However, at the end of the day, after two great wins, they cemented their place at the top of the ladder.

The Bern Bears continue to go from strength to strength with another solid win against the Basel Dragons.

The race for the Jacob Brownley Medal heated up at the weekend with Zurich Giants goal kicker Zac Stewart kicking an impressive 11 goals in the seniors. There were also some spectacular goals by Winterthur‘s Daniel Bunge and Geneva‘s Maxim Allen in round 2.

Bern Bears‘ Mark Mansour had a big day out in the ressies match with 8 goals.

The Zurich Giants were amazing hosts as always. And AFL Switzerland umpires Chris Lauener and Dave White were equally impressive spending the vast majority of the day on the ground. Solid effort umps!

We‘re now looking forward to round 3 in Geneva in 2 weeks. It is the Atlas Wealth Group Round at AFL Switzerland.
