The Come and Try Session followed by the Swiss National Training session in Zürich at the weekend was a huge success!

The Bern Bears continued their footy education and refined their new skills with AFL Switzerland Head of Women’s – Molly Coleman who was supported by AFL Switzerland players and coaches at the Come and Try session. Then the Swiss National Coach Dave White took over and the group of 35 players were split into two teams to use those new skills in a fun match.

After the match the Swiss national players began their 2026 Euro Cup campaign with their first training session. 21 players took part in the session and a practice match was held at the end.

There was a lot of fun and a lot of smiles during the two sessions, both on and off the field! And it was great to have so many families with their children come along to enjoy the positive atmosphere!

Geneva Jets player – Maxim Allen named in the Australia Spirit Squad for the ANZAC Cup 2026!

We’re super proud to have Maxim, an AFL Switzerland and Geneva Jets player, representing us at the ANZAC Cup this year in Villers-Bretonneux, France.

The men’s Australia Spirit team will take on the French Coqs and the women’s Australia Spirit team will battle it out with the French Gauloises.
