Switzerland’s Head of Women’s Football, Molly Coleman, joined the World Footy Podcast to share her incredible footy journey across three continents.

From growing up in rural Gippsland, Victoria, to discovering the game in Vietnam, where she first laced up her boots, to playing in Australia and now in Switzerland, Molly has genuine world footy experience.

She is now on a mission to build a Swiss national women‘s team to compete at 2026 Euro Cup in July next year.

AFL Switzerland is proud to announce that the league’s Leading Goal Kicker Award has been renamed the **Jacob Brownley Medal**.

As an early pioneer in the leagues goal kicking history and in recognition of Jacob’s outstanding achievement as the competition’s top goal kicker in three consecutive seasons (2021, 2022, and 2023), the clubs and league board unanimously agreed to honour his contribution to Swiss footy in this permanent way.

A fitting tribute to one of the country’s finest forwards.
