The Northern Bears were a combined reserves side made up from players from the northern Swiss clubs (Basel Dragons, Winterthur Lions and Zurich Giants) who competed against the Geneva Jets reserves team between 2019 and 2024.
Some notable players who made their start in this reserves team and still play today are Noah Weber and Keelan Senn. Swiss comedian Chris Braeker also played for the Northern Bears.
