For the first time since 2023, AFL Switzerland will send its women’s national team to the Euro Cup in 2026!
The revival, led by former Head of Women’s Football Molly Coleman and current Co-Heads Alina Pirkheim and Emilia Heufelder, has undergone a major transformation. Most notably, the team is now known as the Swiss Lynx.
We’re thrilled to also have a dedicated Women’s National Coach – Matthew Kenna from the Basel Dragons AFC. With his extensive Australian footy experience, Matthew will help guide this young and ambitious squad.
Full of youth, some experience, and huge excitement, the Swiss Lynx can’t wait to take the field and represent Switzerland at Euro Cup 2026 next month!
