Jacob Gome has been one of Europe’s most successful umpires in 2026. After winning the Golden Whistle at the Champions League in Lyon, France, in April and delivering an outstanding season in Switzerland, including the Grand Final, he was awarded the AFL Switzerland Golden Whistle for his exceptional efforts throughout the year.
He is also currently helping Lausanne’s newest club prepare to enter the league in 2027. We’re lucky to have him in Switzerland!
